Kyle Sandilands may have tied the knot almost three weeks ago, but he and his new wife, Tegan Kynaston, only just got around to unwrapping wedding gifts this week.

On The Kyle & Jackie O Show this morning, the radio host revealed what items he received from his celebrity guests, with one particular gift from best mate John Ibrahim and his partner Sarah Budge coming as a complete surprise.

“All I’m going to say about that is I was given a yellow envelope,” Sandilands said of the former Kings Cross club owner who was one of his three groomsmen on the big day.

When his co-host Jackie “O” Henderson jokingly asked if it was drugs, Sandilands clarified: “If you watch those TV shows, you know the yellow envelopes are full of cash. I don’t think it was pulled out of a family member’s roof or anything. It was his own cash.”

After a brief debate about whether to share the cash amount on air, Sandilands eventually relented, revealing there was $10,000 in the envelope.

Henderson was disheartened by the eye-watering present as she wanted to be the one to give her co-host the most memorable present.

“I’m done. I didn’t spend $10,000,” she said on air.

While Sandilands insisted it wasn’t a competition, Henderson still wanted to come out on top with her gift: matching monogram Louis Vuitton travel luggage for the couple to use on their honeymoon.

The shock jock also revealed his other wedding gifts with listeners, saying he and Kynaston received a box of 25 Waterford crystal champagne flutes from Today show host Karl Stefanovic and his wife Jasmine Yarbrough – glassware that would’ve cost the couple anywhere between $3,000 to $4,000.

“That’s what I would expect from the Stefanovics,” Sandilands said.

Guy Sebastian and his stylist wife, Jules, also gave the newlyweds Waterford crystal glasses, with the groom playfully saying: “Why buy glasses when there’s crystals?”

Sandilands said he wasn’t expecting a gift from the inaugural Australian Idol winner as the singer already gifted the couple “multiple performances for free” on the night.

According to the radio host, if he was not good mates with Sebastian, the performance fee would be astronomical.

“By the way, if I was running Telstra and I wanted Guy to come and sing at the national conference, [it would be an] easy $100,000,” he said.

The newlyweds were also showered with gifts from former NRL star Beau Ryan and his wife, Kara, who gave the couple a Vera Wang red wine decanter, which retails for $300.

“It was huge and beautiful and lovely and it’s the first time we put it on the shelf since the wedding,” Sandilands said.

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and NSW Premiere Chris Minns, along with their partners, gave the couple a joint gift by renaming a star in the galaxy Otto, in honour of Sandilands and Kynaston’s baby son.

“I’ve got the certificate and everything,” the radio host revealed. “And it shows on a map how to see your own star.”

Sandilands and Kynaston tied the knot in front of 130 closest family and friends in a mansion in Sydney’s Darling Point on April 29.

There was no expense spared, with the event costing the couple $1 million dollars – and $150,000 of that budget went to flowers alone.
